DoD Lab Day to Showcase Cutting Edge Technology

The Department of Defense will host its first-ever lab day at the Pentagon on Thursday. The event will highlight more than 100 innovations from around the services that are advancing the military. More than 60 laboratories and research divisions from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force will showcase their efforts to improve the nation’s military capabilities through science and technology.

DoD Lab Day will be hosted by Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Frank Kendall. To kick-off the day, Deputy Secretary of Defense Bob Work will speak at the event’s opening ceremony at 10 a.m. EDT which will be live streamed on Defense.gov.
